Welcome to the Healthy Berrien Consortium Website!
The Healthy Berrien Consortium is a framework for collaboration of key health care organizations and leaders which was formed to jointly undertake improving the health and wellbeing of Berrien County residents. The Consortium is a context in which leaders from the health care community can jointly assess, address, and assure community health endeavors that may be beyond the resources of any one agency. The Consortium reviews health-related data, assesses underlying problems, and proposes intervention strategies; this guides member organizations and the community into taking actions which will improve the overall health status of Berrien County and improve coordination of the health care delivery system. From time to time, the Consortium sponsors collaborative events with the public and our politicians in order to promote improved health and health care in Berrien County.
